Milburn
Set back from the village green in separate grounds from the owner's
house, Eastgate Barn offers beautiful views: to the east a track that
leads directly up to Cross Fell, and views to the Pennines and the Pikes;
to the west panoramic views through the 10' picture window of the
Lake District Hills in the background, and a foreground of rolling fields
(populated with sheep which occasionally escape and peep in through the
glass doors). To the north-west, a view through a small orchard to
the village and marvellous summer sunsets.
